Most of the notebooks offered by the Régie to its consumers were distributed during the 1930s. Many renowned illustrators are then called upon to realize the imagination of the support brands.
The use of stamp books offered by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications as a communication medium for Régie cigarettes was in full swing during the 1930s. The Régie abandoned this medium after the war.
The use of tobacco ration cards occurs during the Second World War and lasts until 1946-47. The purpose of the tobacco card is to ration, in times of great shortage, the quantities of tobacco that each smoker can have. Tobacco cards are also imposed by the Ministry of the Budget independently of the activities of the Régie.
In glass, earthenware or even more recently in aluminium, the ashtrays designed for the brands of the Régie have had a long career: From the birth of the advertising department of the Monopoly in 1926 to the latest bans on tobacco advertising ( 2011).
